What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol that standardizes how applications provide context and tools to AI assistants. Think of it as a USB-C port for AI — instead of building custom integrations for every AI tool, you implement MCP once and any MCP-compatible client can connect.

Void Analytics now supports MCP, allowing you to query your analytics data directly from AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and any other MCP-compatible client.

Getting Started with MCP

1. Add the Void Analytics MCP server connection to your Claude or ChatGPT
2. You'll be asked to authorize the connection
3. After authorization, your AI agent can access your analytics data

Available Tools

Once connected, your AI assistant can access the following analytics tools:

1. get_websites — List all your websites and their slugs
2. get_visitors — Fetch visitor count for a website with date filtering
3. gettoppages — Get the most visited pages
4. gettrafficsources — See where your traffic is coming from
5. getbouncerate — Analyze your website bounce rate
6. getlivevisitors — Check live visitor count
7. get_summary — Get a full analytics summary report in markdown
